QS-Newbie
2019-02-03 00:25:02 UTC
QSL version: 1.1.4
O/S: Windoze (any)
Description of the problem and instuctions on how to reproduce it:
Sometimes, when deleting a sent message from the OUTBOX, using right-
click and Delete, the message does NOT disappear from the outbox LISTING
WINDOW (as it should), though it actually has been deleted.
This happens unpredictably, 20%-50% of the time.
Instead, an adjacent message disappears from the listing.
If one now exits from the OUTBOX (Index) window with CANCEL or "x", all
is well.
But if one instead exits that window the natural way, with "OK", QS
immediately crashes with:
"Assertion failed: newsmsg->Count >0, file composewins.cpp,line 2677"
and then
"Abnormal program termination"
and losing any unsaved qs.db data. The bug is a real nuisance because of
the otherwise sensible idea of only writing the encrypted qs.db to
storage medium after a normal closedown (or a SAVE or PACK).
So I always exit after a delete within the Listing Window via CANCEL.
