Micro$oft knowledge base useful as ever.... when the machine is heavily
loaded, sometimes the mouse cursor freezer, and only a reboot will fix it.
Things highlit by the mouse rolling over still work and can be clicked, so
something knows where it is, but the cursor itself is frozen on the screen.
Optical USB mouse; installed new driver for same with no help.
Has anybody seen this?

Thanks,

Dumb question:
Does the mouse use batteries?
If so, change them!
