(too old to reply)

In the past, kerckhoffs.surfnet.nl was a reliable public key server,
also known as minsky.surfnet.nl, pgp.surfnet.nl, wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net, and
wwwkeys.nl.pgp.net. Lately, however, it is not responding. Does anyone
know what happened to it?

On occasion, I might filter and ignore all newsgroup messages
posted through GoogleGroups via Google's G2/1.0 user agent
because of spam from that source.

This is one of my default servers (right after keyserver.stack.nl) and
it has been working without problems for me, both via IPv4 as IPv6.
I believe the IPv6 address is a relatively recent addition. Could it
be that there are some issues with (your) IPv6 connectivity?

http://www.sks-keyservers.net/status/ monitors various PGP servers
and this one (listed there as minsky) seems to do just fine.

Ciao,
Johan

Why do we always come here - I guess we'll never know.
It's like a kind of torture to have to watch the show.

Ciao,

Yes, it's working for me now. But yesterday and last week, I kept
getting time-outs.

This too is one of my two default servers. The other one is
stinkfoot.org.
