limit to which I have memorized it)

They differ by 0.04%. That might not seem like much, but it is close to
1.5 miles when computing the length of a great-circle airplane route
between New York in the U.S. and Paris in France.

This is OK. When thinking in intercontinental scales hitting Paris is
enough. And if not:
pi = 355/113 + "not that much"

I have to admit that if using this to calculate the position of Paris
within the Milkyway you won't even hit earth...
