experience gpg2 and enigmail?

PLs does someone use enigmail/thunderbird and gpg2 with it?
Where is the gpg installed? Does the enigmail then pick either gpg(1)
or gpg2 ?

I have gpg 1.4.9 installed but not gpg 2.

In Debian Linux the gpg executable is in /usr/bin (public and secret
keys are in ~/.gnupg)

In TB take a look at Tools / Add-ons / Enigmail preferences / Basic tab
or
OpenPGP / Preferences / Basic tab. It looks like you can point to the
version of gpg you want to use.
